Kimi Raikkonen's First Win!

Kimi Raikkonen takes his maiden victory at Sepang! After an eventful start around the first two corners with Michael Schumacher getting tangled with Jarno Trulli and caused a lot of havoc in the process, Kimi Raikkonen ended up on top with the right strategy and solid performance from the young Finn who is only 23 years old. An emotional Ron Dennis could be seen crying while Kimi A.k.a "Iceman" is close to his first maiden victory on the last lap. Rubens Barrichello was second with Spaniard Fernando Alonso third.

Renault did a very good job during qualifying yesterday and it seems to have worked out pretty well for Alonso but not so for Trulli who was tangled with Michael in the first two corners and to put matters worse, Trulli had some problems during his pit stop. Michael Schumacher drove a solid race today as well despite the early collision with Jarno Trulli and drive through penalty that was given due to that incident, he still managed to score some points at P6 which shows his determination. The two Sauber Petronas drivers drove a good race too with Nick Heidfeld at P8 and Frentzen at P9 but they could have been at a better grid position if not for the problems during their pit stops.

Here are the top 8 grid positions for today's race at Sepang:
