Renault did a very good job during qualifying yesterday and it seems to have worked out pretty well for Alonso but not so for Trulli who was tangled with Michael in the first two corners and to put matters worse, Trulli had some problems during his pit stop. Michael Schumacher drove a solid race today as well despite the early collision with Jarno Trulli and drive through penalty that was given due to that incident, he still managed to score some points at P6 which shows his determination. The two Sauber Petronas drivers drove a good race too with Nick Heidfeld at P8 and Frentzen at P9 but they could have been at a better grid position if not for the problems during their pit stops.

Kimi Raikkonen now leads the 2003 championship with 16 points, David Coulthard second with 10 points, Montoya, Trulli, Alonso, Michael Schumacher and Barrichello all with 8 points each.
